McCain's your on your own health care solution

Following the highly criticized proposal advanced by President Bush in 2007, more of the same McCain wants a health care system where people get insurance on the job to one where people are left to fend for themselves in an unregulated insurance market. McCain’s proposed plan would encourages the development of a system with ridiculously high deductibles, some as high as $11,000, and high individual co-payments for services.

Senator McCain would also impose a massive new tax burden on workers by treating health benefits as income earned. In other words, if you have employer contributed health insurance that totals $9,000 a year towards the cost of your health insurance, you would be taxed on that amount even though you never received the money in cash. This tax increase would be partially offset by a modest tax credit that covers less than half the average health plan premium. His reasoning is that by shifting costs to workers, they will use less health care. This is ludicrous and unacceptable. People do not choose to become sick and studies have shown that with proper, preventive health care people are less apt to suffer a major catastrophic illness that can bankrupt them. Use less health care?? Guess someone with unlimited health care resources like More of the Same McCain doesn't care about you and me, or anyone who makes less than 2.5 million a year.

Once again the nation is being mislead by vicious, scandalous, lies told by people who hold themselves up as Christians. Guess they missed the "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor" line in the Ten Commandments. Moral majority, Conservative Christian Right, Moral Majority...what a bunch of hypocrites you are. The people who spread these lies about Senators Obama and Joe Biden are evil, and the those who believe such filth and slander are simpletons. Being mislead by Bush in his first campaign is forgivable, the second 4 years made the country look like a bunch of morons. We cannot be taken in again. Step up to the plate and vote on the issues that will affect all of our lives and do not vote for someone just because you like their hairdo or the church they attend. If you don't wake up we'll all be in more trouble than you could ever fathom. If you don't work to get this country on the right track, you should all be ashamed of yourselves.
